Prof. Matthias Tischler and his team will be visiting our project regularly during the years 2009 and 2010.
Their research conducted at the UAB is part of the project: "Discovering religion as a historical phenomenon: Changes in the perception of Judaism, Christianity and Islam during the Middle Ages" (funded by the program Acciones intergradas, DAAD-MCI).

Andrea Baer is a member of the project: "Discovering religion as a historical phenomenon: Changes in the perception of Judaism, Christianity and Islam during the Middle Ages" (co-directed by A. Fidora and M. Tischler). 

She will conduct research at the UAB on Ibn Hazm (994–1064) and his position on faith and reason in religious thought.

Christoph Körner is a member of the project: "Discovering religion as a historical phenomenon: Changes in the perception of Judaism, Christianity and Islam during the Middle Ages" (co-directed by A. Fidora and M. Tischler). 

He will conduct research at the UAB on Pope Benedict XIII (d. 1423) and the role that played his special libraries of (anti)heretical literature for his religious thinking.
